A Safe and Supportive Home for Those Who Served At LP³, we are dedicated to providing quality veteran housing in North Philadelphia, PA, and Northeast Philadelphia, PA. The Love Pray Peace Project (LP3) aims to support homeless veterans and their families by providing compassionate, community-centered living environments that address essential needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. This year marked our fifth contract year as an Office of Homeless Services emergency shelter contractor, providing transitional housing to homeless veterans and older adults. We served 40 veterans in our original affordable housing program, successfully housed 48 homeless veterans, and supported 63 adults 60 years and older. Additionally, LP3 partnered with the Department of Housing and Urban Development to house 28 low-income families, including veterans.

LP3 provided prepared meals 2x per week for our supportive housing program which includes veterans and older adults. Our transitional housing program serves daily healthy meals on-site to ensure access to nutritious food. Clothing assistance was offered through vouchers or direct purchases, ensuring veterans had dignified attire for appointments, interviews, and daily use. The LP3 residence provided safe and stable housing for high-risk individuals, including people of color, vulnerable adults over 60, and those with preexisting medical or behavioral health conditions.

We promoted an employee to the position of Director of Supportive Housing, enhancing our community housing programs and providing a direct liaison for community partners and landlords collaborating with LP3. These improvements in capability and effectiveness have reinforced our commitment to providing high-quality support to homeless veterans, making a positive difference in their lives and contributing to the overall success of the LP3 project.
